So I recently acquired a hamster. I say 'acquired', I actively went out and bought a hamster. In the store, they're adorable, and make absolutely zero noise. The perfect pet, I thought, until the first evening; they make a hell of a lot of noise. They run in their wheels, without pause, for hours!
I decided to put my faith in the 99p shop. They don't often let me down, but every time I make a purchase I'm always a little skeptical that it's too good to be true. But this time, let me tell you, they've won me over.

PERFORMANCE
The product does a great job of blocking out unwanted noise, hamsters and housemates included. I was really impressed! They are easy to use, you simply roll the earplugs between your thumb and forefinger to compress them, then insert the rounded end into the ear. In seconds the foam moulds to the shape of your ear, so they will fit anyone and everyone. No hassle whatsoever! Plus they're comfortable too, perfect for wearing throughout the night. The carry case is a very handy addition meaning you can take the earplugs with you anywhere with no risk of them getting damaged or dirty. And the best part is, there are four pairs, so you can equip the whole family for 99p!
PRICE
Let's be honest, it's the first reason you go to the 99p shop. It wouldn't be called that if it wasn't all about value. In Boots you can buy a product which is very similar, but includes only 3 pairs, instead of 4, along with the carry case. However, at Boots, this similar product will cost you £2.79... a rip off! Not to mention the appalling reviews on their website. I'd quote, but I don't want to rub it in too much! For just 99 pence you can purchase a product that works well and reduce stress levels. Fantastic value for money, and kudos to the 99p Store.
